Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dominique Levine made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Piccadilly's zone, Eli Ingram stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano ForestLaforest came out of the goal and Eli Ingram tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Piccadilly's Ezequiel Woody got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Murray Cuevas kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to Piccadilly getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Eugène Dobson hit a great ball. If Eli Ingram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doyle Andrews kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Warren Reece took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominique Levine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Darden in the 28th minute of play forced Piccadilly's goalkeeper Mariano ForestLaforest to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Mariano ForestLaforest managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Matador's Eli Ingram fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dominique Levine in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Warren Reece saved Matador from getting behind. After 33 minutes, Murray Cuevas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matador and the Piccadilly players grew even worse after the yellow card. Murray Cuevas hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Warren Reece showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Woody in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Matador's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Woody came free, but Warren Reece reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Woody might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Warren Reece. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ezequiel Woody ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Matador's goalkeeper Warren Reece, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Eugène Dobson's late challenge caught a Matador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugène Dobson helped the player get up and apologised. If Eli Ingram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Warren Reece made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominique Levine in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Marcus Darden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ezequiel Woody sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominique Levine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Warren Reece tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ezequiel Woody came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Piccadilly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Woody couldn't finish the play. Mariano ForestLaforest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Darden in the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Piccadilly's Dominique Levine got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute Marcus Darden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano ForestLaforest saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Piccadilly fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Matador. Doyle Andrews stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mariano ForestLaforest. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Matador had won after a very even match.
