Spectators: 6756 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ray Starkey kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Youngstown AFC's Kris Fortune got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 8 minutes of play, Howick FC's Henry Barrett made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Negron was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sang Taylor kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Juan Negron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyson Mott in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Youngstown AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Fox to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Howick FC's Henry Barrett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Negron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute of the match, Henry Barrett got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juan Negron was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Walter Vaughn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palmer Gross in the 26th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Howick FC got a freekick which was hit by Richie Albert. Palmer Gross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ray Starkey might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Vaughn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ray Starkey ran back to his position shaking his head. Youngstown AFC's Palmer Gross got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ray Starkey struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Walter Vaughn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Youngstown AFC. Palmer Gross received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Walter Vaughn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Henry Barrett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Henry Barrett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tyson Mott to make the kick off. Tyson Mott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Juan Negron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palmer Gross who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Walter Vaughn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 72nd match minute, Howick FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyson Mott to maneuver through the defense. Juan Negron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Barrett in the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Palmer Gross managed to get in a good position for a shot. Youngstown AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Palmer Gross was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Vaughn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walter Vaughn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Palmer Gross in the 79th minute. Palmer Gross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyson Mott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Negron having to interfere. Henry Barrett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Juan Negron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Youngstown AFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Edmond Holland hit a great ball. In the 97th minute Jarred Turgeon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Negron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Howick FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
