Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jay Landry kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Sheshegwaning's Adrien Willoughby got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Riverton AFC's Wendell Hanson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that Aaron Roberson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jamie Patel was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Jay Landry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jack Desaulniers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Riverton AFC's Jay Landry dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 25 minutes into the game, Jay Landry recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jordan Horner. Jay Landry showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. If Roger Sicard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordan Horner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jospeh Davidson's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Jack Desaulniers struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Jordan Horner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riverton AFC. Jay Landry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jordan Horner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Sicard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Roger Sicard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jamie Patel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Riverton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elton Sheehan to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Riverton AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Kermit Parent hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jay Landry in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jordan Horner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute, Patrice Peters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sheshegwaning's Jordan Horner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jay Landry in the 88th minute of play.
