An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphaël Steele in the 37th minute of play forced Lunenburg AFC's goalkeeper Keven Pellerin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Raphaël Steele cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Keven Pellerin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogelio Bonami made a kick off. In the 57th minute Francisco Painter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keven Pellerin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keven Pellerin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Jonathon Pritchett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Keene FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lunenburg AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
