Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Reynaldo Echeverri got the match started through his kick off. Javier Crandall might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaston Harquin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Javier Crandall ran back to his position shaking his head. Ashley Kendall took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sydney Story. Sydney Story dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Mooyie AFC's Sydney Story played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Daley in the 10th minute of play. Noe Maher hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Mariano Harquin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sydney Story having to make a save. Sydney Story made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darryl Daley in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Echeverri in the 23rd minute of play forced Whitkow's goalkeeper Gaston Harquin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mooyie AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Javier Crandall hit a great ball. Sydney Story stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Harquin's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 36th match minute, Mooyie AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Caouette to maneuver through the defense. When Alexis Jobin came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Mooyie AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexis Jobin couldn't finish the play. Gaston Harquin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Echeverri in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Mooyie AFC booed when Whitkow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Harquin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Whitkow were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mariano Harquin made the kick off in the second half. Sydney Story took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Harquin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mooyie AFC's Javier Crandall got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Darryl Daley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sydney Story tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Harquin spun around in front of the goal 63 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Mooyie AFC's goal. After 65 played minutes Mariano Harquin rounded Mooyie AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. In the 75th minute, Alexis Jobin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reynaldo Echeverri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Harquin having to interfere. Jude McGill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Sydney Story made a huge save. 84 minutes into the match, Mooyie AFC's goalkeeper Sydney Story had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darryl Daley. Gaston Harquin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Crandall in the 89th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Reynaldo Echeverri put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gaston Harquin. Javier Crandall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Harquin having to interfere. Whitkow's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
