The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Juste Pate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Echeverri, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Mooyie AFC's Reynaldo Echeverri got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Javier Crandall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 played minutes Fontas got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Matlock. Mooyie AFC's Sydney Story played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graham McLean in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Graham McLean in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sydney Story saved Mooyie AFC from getting behind. The supporters of Fontas booed when Mooyie AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Reynolds didn't get a good kick on the ball.
