Mariano Harquin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juste Pate having to interfere. If Darryl Daley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Mariano Harquin made the kick off in the second half. Del Fischer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Harquin having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Del Fischer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 59 minutes into the game, Graham McLean recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaston Harquin. Graham McLean showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 66 minutes into the match, Whitkow's goal looked a bit too open when Graham McLean came free, but Gaston Harquin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graham McLean in the 69th minute of play forced Whitkow's goalkeeper Gaston Harquin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Jude McGill shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juste Pate showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Fontas's Reuben Larocque got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 87th play minute Del Fischer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gaston Harquin. 2-2. In the 92nd minute, Darryl Daley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Fontas's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Harquin came free, but Juste Pate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
