After having played for 44 minutes, Del Fischer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fontas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Del Fischer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 46 played minutes Lunenburg AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Riquet. If Graham McLean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Graham McLean made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graham McLean in the 54th minute of play forced Lunenburg AFC's goalkeeper Keven Pellerin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Bonami was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Miller got free with Juste Pate in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Lunenburg AFC booed when Fontas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reuben Larocque didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Lunenburg AFC's Leslie Couch broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Juste Pate went to the wrong direction when Leslie Couch was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. A collision led to Lunenburg AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Donnie Mays hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Onesime Ritchie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keven Pellerin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Rogelio Bonami's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juste Pate was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the match, Lunenburg AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Graham McLean came free, but Keven Pellerin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lunenburg AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
