Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jc Rubio made the kick off which started today's match. Samuel Sloan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ashley Kendall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 3 minutes into the match, Young AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jude McGill came free, but Samuel Sloan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Warren Desnoyers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Whitkow's Gaston Harquin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Darryl Daley came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Whitkow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darryl Daley couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, Jc Rubio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaston Harquin. Whitkow's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jc Rubio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gaston Harquin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jc Rubio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Warren Desnoyers might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaston Harquin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Warren Desnoyers ran back to his position shaking his head. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Young AFC! When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Whitkow's Olen Spencer got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Samuel Sloan. Darryl Daley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Samuel Sloan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play, Whitkow's Darryl Daley made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Sloan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 76 minutes into the match, Young AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Daley came free, but Samuel Sloan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Warren Desnoyers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Gaston Harquin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mariano Harquin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaston Harquin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jc Rubio in the 93rd minute of the match. Warren Desnoyers struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Gaston Harquin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Young AFC.
