Burstall's Thierry Zapata got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Randal Clemons during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Mooyie AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Elisha Terry came free, but Sydney Story reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Crandall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robbie Godin's late challenge caught a Mooyie AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robbie Godin helped the player get up and apologised. Wilford Jacobsen made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Javier Crandall sent off a good shot on target. Wilford Jacobsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Javier Crandall in the 98th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mooyie AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
