When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Harquin made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Whitkow's zone, Thad Legault stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Harquin came out of the goal and Thad Legault tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute, Jude McGill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Thad Legault made a precise shot to the right of Gaston Harquin. Whitkow's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Darryl Daley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmad Fairchild hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Thad Legault was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some careless play in the Whitkow defense, Ahmad Fairchild kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Harquin. The Whitkow fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Harquin should have stopped the shot. Thad Legault did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Gaston Harquin 76 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Whitkow's Gonzalo Shockley got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Huey Fecteau shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaston Harquin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Ashley Kendall fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Whitkow's protests and gave Ashley Kendall a yellow card for diving instead.
