Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Romain Bernal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as Norman AFC's Anselme Mendez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Keven Pellerin. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. In the 9th match minute, Lunenburg AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léonard Dodier to maneuver through the defense. Romain Bernal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Keven Pellerin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leslie Couch hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Norman AFC's Ali Blevins shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Keven Pellerin but with some difficulty. 18 minutes into the match, Norman AFC's Romain Bernal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keven Pellerin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 22nd minute, but Keven Pellerin got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Lunenburg AFC hanging dry this time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Miller in the 26th minute of play forced Norman AFC's goalkeeper Andreas Hairston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Rogelio Bonami who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Norman AFC's Andreas Hairston was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Bonami in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Hairston prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute Eustaquio Miller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Hairston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Lunenburg AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anselme Mendez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Anselme Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Miller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Andreas Hairston was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Bonami was the one to do the kick off.
