Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vespasien Busque took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Keith Dewitt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pennington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Willowdale the free kick. In the 4th minute, one of Pennington:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pennington. Everette Ware placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When Vespasien Busque came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Willowdale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vespasien Busque couldn't finish the play. Willowdale's Dante McCabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Sumner in the 16th minute of play. Dante McCabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milton Connolly in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Faustino Sumner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pennington's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustino Sumner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante McCabe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stevie Grimm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vespasien Busque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Faustino Sumner put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dante McCabe. In the 30th minute, Everette Ware hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willowdale's Dante McCabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Sumner in the 32nd minute of play. Dante McCabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Sumner in the 35th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Willowdale's goal looked a bit too open when Milton Connolly came free, but Dante McCabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante McCabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Sumner in the 40th minute of play. Dante McCabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milton Connolly, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Dante McCabe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Sumner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milton Connolly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dante McCabe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
0-2 became the score in the 54th minute when Faustino Sumner elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Faustino Sumner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante McCabe. Faustino Sumner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 63rd minute, Vespasien Busque made a precise shot to the right of Stevie Grimm. Pennington's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. With his leg Dante McCabe managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Pennington's Milton Connolly fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Faustino Sumner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante McCabe having to interfere. Dante McCabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Sumner in the 74th minute of the match. Faustino Sumner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Dante McCabe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante McCabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Sumner in the 85th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vespasien Busque's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stevie Grimm was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustino Sumner in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante McCabe saved Willowdale from getting behind. If Milton Connolly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the game, Jasper Louis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Willowdale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pennington the free kick. Dante McCabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Sumner in the 94th minute of the match. Pennington played a much better game than Willowdale and deserved their victory. The Willowdale players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
