Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vespasien Busque kicked off to start the match. Murdochville FC's Marcellin Bourgeau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyler McKay in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Willowdale's goal looked a bit too open when Jesse Holloway came free, but Dante McCabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcellin Bourgeau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vespasien Busque in the 7th minute of play. Murdochville FC's Jesse Holloway got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Willowdale's Freddy Lynch got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Bruno Raines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-1 became the score in the 18th minute when Tyler McKay elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 21st minute, André Carr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Willowdale's Edgar Rosales got a free kick in the 24th minute. Marcellin Bourgeau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vespasien Busque's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. When Bruno Raines came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Murdochville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Raines couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Vespasien Busque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Murdochville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vespasien Busque came free, but Marcellin Bourgeau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Raines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jesse Holloway to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Freddy Lynch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcellin Bourgeau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tyler McKay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Marcellin Bourgeau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Raines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante McCabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Raines, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some careless play in the Willowdale defense, Bruno Raines kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante McCabe. The Willowdale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante McCabe should have stopped the shot. If Bruno Raines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Murdochville FC's Florencio Keller got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Tyler McKay came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Willowdale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tyler McKay couldn't finish the play. When German Lyle fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Murdochville FC's protests and gave German Lyle a yellow card for diving instead. Vespasien Busque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcellin Bourgeau having to interfere. Dante McCabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Raines, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Raines in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante McCabe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcellin Bourgeau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vespasien Busque's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Dante McCabe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Raines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Murdochville FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Willowdale had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
