Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) Squamish's Enrique Dominguez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Dariusz Piechna put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Darrel Tucker. Eduardo Waddell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Cory Vadnais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Osoyoos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Piechna came free, but Darrel Tucker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darrel Tucker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Dominguez in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Dariusz Piechna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darrel Tucker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes of play, Squamish's Enrique Dominguez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Darrel Tucker was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes into the match, Osoyoos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Piechna came free, but Darrel Tucker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 minutes of play, Squamish's Dariusz Piechna made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Darrel Tucker was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cory Vadnais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kermit Mercier's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 27 minutes, Kermit Mercier made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Squamish's Cory Vadnais tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Enrique Dominguez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darrel Tucker having to make a save. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Dariusz Piechna sped through Osoyoos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Darrel Tucker. Darrel Tucker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dariusz Piechna went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute, Garry Looney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lawrence Bass to make the kick off. Enrique Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes Osoyoos FC got a freekick which was hit by Damien Hall. Darrel Tucker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Dominguez went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Enrique Dominguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Dariusz Piechna got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Walton Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Osoyoos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enrique Dominguez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cory Vadnais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Moreland in the 71st minute of the match. After 72 minutes, Kermit Mercier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Osoyoos FC and the Squamish players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Osoyoos FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Kermit Mercier hit a great ball. The supporters of Squamish booed when Osoyoos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lawrence Bass didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Dominguezs short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Darrel Tucker to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dariusz Piechna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 minutes of play Osoyoos FC's Kermit Mercier was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Kermit Mercier hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Squamish's Randall Boisclair got a free kick in the 90th minute. Randall Boisclair scored 1-8 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Darrel Tucker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Dariusz Piechna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Squamish could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Osoyoos FC throughout the match.
