Murray Bossé hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Willowdale's zone, Jordan Corey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante McCabe came out of the goal and Jordan Corey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante McCabe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matt Boivin in the 75th minute. In the 81st match minute, Willowdale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murray Bossé to maneuver through the defense. Wetaskiwin FC's Jordan Corey got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wetaskiwin FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
