In the 73rd minute, Jean Viens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante McCabe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After some careless play in the Willowdale defense, Jean Viens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante McCabe. The Willowdale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante McCabe should have stopped the shot. Dante McCabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Viens in the 86th minute of the match. If Vespasien Busque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean Viens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nathanael Fournier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Lynch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dover's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
