An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordan Corey in the 14th minute of play forced Corbin's goalkeeper Zackary Deaton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corbin's Andy Bruneau got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute of the match Dominick Kendrick shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zackary Deaton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Matt Boivin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zackary Deaton having to interfere. Lonnie Whalen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matt Boivin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Zackary Deaton made a huge save. Matt Boivin came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zackary Deaton could save by the left post. With a little luck, Corbin's Zackary Deaton got control of the ball when Matt Boivin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wetaskiwin FC's Sebastian Walton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lonnie Whalen in the 67th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jc Paquette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Walton was relentless in the 74th minute of the game.
