Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000,
Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) When Tanner Major came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Sicamous fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tanner Major couldn't finish the play. Aron Clinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Stockton having to interfere. Renato Stockton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Clinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tanner Major fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Stockton having to interfere. Alvin Solomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hobert England having to interfere. In the 17th minute Trent Giroux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hobert England saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Kinney in the 18th minute of play forced Sicamous's goalkeeper Hobert England to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Tanner Major managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sicamous's supporters rose to their feet, but Tanner Major was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Stockton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sicamous's Aron Clinton got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Masson AFC's Renato Stockton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Masson AFC from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the game, Aron Clinton lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Renato Stockton. After a rather tough play, Sicamous's Emerson Faulk got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Masson AFC's goalkeeper Renato Stockton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aron Clinton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renato Stockton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. When Blake McCauley fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Masson AFC's protests and gave Blake McCauley a yellow card for diving instead. Blake McCauley hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Renato Stockton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Clinton in the 41st minute of the match. Alvin Solomon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Quentin Kinney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvin Solomon to strike the kick off in the second half. Tanner Major sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tanner Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tanner Major fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Stockton having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Loic Russell during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Masson AFC! Bud Crabtree walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Renato Stockton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanner Major in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Masson AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Loic Russell hit a great ball. Sicamous's Aron Clinton got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute Alvin Solomon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hobert England saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Sicamous players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
