Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Noé Stuart successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sundown FC's Noé Stuart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Solomon in the 10th minute of play. If Alvin Solomon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Quentin Kinney could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Noé Stuart however easily saved by the left post. In the 20th minute, Willian McCracken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noé Stuart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Solomon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Sundown FC's goalkeeper Noé Stuart had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quentin Kinney. Masson AFC's Renato Stockton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian McCracken in the 29th minute of play. Quentin Kinney hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Renato Stockton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freeman Silva in the 40th minute of the match. After 43 minutes, Frederick Sinclair mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sundown FC and the Masson AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Sundown FC got a freekick which was hit by Frederick Sinclair. In the 44th minute, Quinn Keene sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sundown FC's Noé Stuart didn't even have to move. Shirley Barnes's late challenge caught a Masson AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shirley Barnes helped the player get up and apologised. 46 minutes into the match, Quentin Kinney notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sundown FC's Noé Stuart. Noé Stuart was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvin Solomon to make the kick off. Quentin Kinney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noé Stuart having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Sundown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Solomon came free, but Noé Stuart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alvin Solomon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Masson AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Quinn Keene hit a great ball. Freeman Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Renato Stockton made a huge save. 83 minutes into the match, Blake McCauley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noé Stuart. Sundown FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blake McCauley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Freeman Silva hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Sundown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Kinney came free, but Noé Stuart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willian McCracken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Alvin Solomon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sundown FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Masson AFC.
