Spectators: 6719 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Shawn Ladner kicked off to start the match. Willian McCracken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Lebel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Denis Lebel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shirley Barnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. A collision led to Holden AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Milton Burnham hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Willian McCracken managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sundown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Willian McCracken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Lebel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denis Lebel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Shawn Ladner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Noé Stuart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shirley Barnes's late challenge caught a Holden AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shirley Barnes helped the player get up and apologised. Shirley Barnes kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Sundown FC's Noé Stuart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porfirio Carr in the 23rd minute of play. Noé Stuart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shawn Ladner in the 25th minute of the match. Noé Stuart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porfirio Carr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederick Sinclair kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Sundown FC's Noé Stuart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shawn Ladner in the 28th minute of play. Noé Stuart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shawn Ladner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Holden AFC booed when Sundown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shirley Barnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shawn Ladner in the 47th minute of play forced Sundown FC's goalkeeper Noé Stuart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Willian McCracken made the kick off in the second half. Porfirio Carr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Noé Stuart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Odilon Kramer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Sundown FC's Noé Stuart got control of the ball when Porfirio Carr tried to sneak it across the goal line. Porfirio Carr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Noé Stuart made a huge save. Shawn Ladner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freeman Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Denis Lebel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shannon Webster charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shannon Webster the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Holden AFC's Shannon Webster got a free kick in the 66th minute. Shawn Ladner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Porfirio Carr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freeman Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Denis Lebel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Willian McCracken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Lebel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Sundown FC's Willian McCracken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denis Lebel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Porfirio Carr came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Holden AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Porfirio Carr couldn't finish the play. When Frederick Sinclair fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundown FC's protests and gave Frederick Sinclair a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Sundown FC got a freekick which was hit by Frederick Sinclair. In the 88th minute, Willian McCracken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Freeman Silva notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Holden AFC's Denis Lebel. Denis Lebel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Willian McCracken in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Lebel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Holden AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sundown FC.
