Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bryce Keith got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryce Keith in the 5th minute of play forced Pentypool FC's goalkeeper Augustin Shook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Lloyd Beaudoin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Shook saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurice Beasley's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Steve Carlton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Augustin Shook showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lloyd Beaudoin in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Casey Davenport shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve Carlton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Pentypool FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Madden. If Casey Davenport had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Monte Briard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Emmanuel Lewis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pentypool FC's Augustin Shook didn't even have to move. Bryce Keith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Shook having to interfere. Maurice Beasley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Steve Carlton made a huge save. Maurice Beasley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Steve Carlton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Pentypool FC's Casey Davenport sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Steve Carlton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lloyd Beaudoin in the 41st minute of play forced Pentypool FC's goalkeeper Augustin Shook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steve Carlton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casey Davenport in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pentypool FC's Wallace Gillespie got a free kick in the 44th minute. The Pentypool FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sperling were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Casey Davenport made the kick off in the second half. Pentypool FC's Augustin Shook proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Pentypool FC from getting a goal against them. Bryce Keith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Augustin Shook tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, one of Sperling:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sperling. Harrison Morris shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Maurice Beasley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Steve Carlton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emmanuel Lewis shot from long distance in the 78th minute, but Augustin Shook was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 81st minute, Casey Davenport left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pentypool FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Casey Davenport had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steve Carlton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Beasley in the 87th minute of play. Augustin Shook didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bryce Keith went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Lloyd Beaudoin in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Augustin Shook, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sperling walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
