When Patrick Hartley fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tepee AFC's protests and gave Patrick Hartley a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pentypool FC booed when Tepee AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Hartley didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Pentypool FC's Casey Davenport sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Dykes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pentypool FC's Maurice Beasley got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Casey Davenport ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Dykes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 20th minute, Casey Davenport left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pentypool FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Augustin Shook showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donatien Gale, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Casey Davenport managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pentypool FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Casey Davenport was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Dykes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Tepee AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pentypool FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Pentypool FC.
