If Quentin Kinney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lothaire Petersen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Solomon in the 34th minute of the match. Pierre Hamilton hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 39th match minute, Masson AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loic Russell to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Douglastown's Tracey Montes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 45th minute, Willian Devine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the game, Douglastown's Eric Phaneuf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renato Stockton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erick Provencher was the one to do the kick off. Alvin Solomon succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Alvin Solomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lothaire Petersen having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Quentin Kinney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Masson AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quentin Kinney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
