Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marty Smallwood kicked off to start the match. Rodrigo Blake's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Marco Wiseman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frankie Engle in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarrett Delong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the game, Laurence Harquin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. McConnel AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Igluligaarjuk FC the free kick. In the 12th match minute, McConnel AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurence Harquin to maneuver through the defense. McConnel AFC's Jarrett Delong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frankie Engle in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Jean Forrest hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Blake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Wiseman having to interfere. Marco Wiseman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marty Smallwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Carter Smallwood was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Igluligaarjuk FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave McConnel AFC the free kick. Carter Smallwood hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When Frankie Engle came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Igluligaarjuk FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frankie Engle couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Marty Smallwood took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Marco Wiseman to make any attempt to save it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frankie Engle to make the kick off. If Marty Smallwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes McConnel AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cortez Hawley. Laurence Harquin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Wiseman having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Marty Smallwood got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Wiseman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marty Smallwood's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute Marty Smallwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Wiseman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Shawn Sierra dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jarrett Delong, 2-1. Jarrett Delong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frankie Engle in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in McConnel AFC's zone, Frankie Engle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarrett Delong came out of the goal and Frankie Engle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, McConnel AFC's Laurence Harquin got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute of the match Igluligaarjuk FC got a corner. McConnel AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carmelo Melvin ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, McConnel AFC's Laurence Harquin got a free kick in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Marty Smallwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. McConnel AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marty Smallwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Wiseman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 played minutes Igluligaarjuk FC got a freekick which was hit by Federico Sanderson. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Rodrigo Blake managed to get in a good position for a shot. McConnel AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Blake was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Wiseman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the McConnel AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
