Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Keith Hoffman kicked off to start the match. When Frank Boncoeur fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goshen's protests and gave Frank Boncoeur a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Goshen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! After 17 played minutes Goshen got a freekick which was hit by Boniface Deschamps. Georges Waters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Bernie Middleton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keith Hoffman in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernie Middleton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dustin Courcelle lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Raphaël Kuhn shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Georges Waters struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Bernie Middleton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goshen. In the 32nd match minute, Grainger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Voss to maneuver through the defense. Keith Hoffman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Georges Waters struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Bernie Middleton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goshen. Duncan Figueroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilien Pelchat having to interfere. Grainger's Thad Walter got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Thad Walter made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Grainger's Thad Walter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximilien Pelchat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the last second Bernie Middleton throw himself and got hold of the ball when Keith Hoffman in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Georges Waters came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Goshen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georges Waters couldn't finish the play. Georges Waters might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernie Middleton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Georges Waters ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernie Middleton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keith Hoffman, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Grainger booed when Goshen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerald Panetier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Grainger's Papillion Bacon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Goshen's goal looked a bit too open when Thad Walter came free, but Maximilien Pelchat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thad Walter in the 69th minute of play forced Goshen's goalkeeper Maximilien Pelchat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
