Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Grainger's Ashley Horton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Duncan Figueroa fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grainger's protests and gave Duncan Figueroa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Grainger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duncan Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. Chauncey Pina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Bernie Middleton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grainger's Ashley Horton got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thad Walter in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Young Vann, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bernie Middleton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cruz Major in the 19th minute of play. Axe Team's Cruz Major got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Teodoro Voss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cruz Major took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernie Middleton. Bernie Middleton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Chauncey Pina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute Antony Parizeau suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Garfield Jean hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Grainger's Bernie Middleton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremy Grubbs in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Axe Team were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cruz Major to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeremy Grubbs kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Thad Walter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Young Vann having to interfere. 55 minutes in the game, Cruz Major fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bernie Middleton having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Grainger's zone, Cruz Major stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernie Middleton came out of the goal and Cruz Major tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 62 played minutes Grainger got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Voss. If Thad Walter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ashley Horton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Young Vann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Young Vann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ashley Horton in the 71st minute of the match. Young Vann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thad Walter, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Thad Walter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Young Vann having to interfere. Axe Team's Young Vann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashley Horton in the 79th minute of play. Young Vann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thad Walter, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Ashley Horton came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Grainger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ashley Horton couldn't finish the play. If Teodoro Voss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omer Salazar during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Grainger booed when Axe Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omer Salazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Young Vann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Papillion Bacon in the 96th minute of play. The Grainger supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Axe Team's performance. The match ended with a win for Axe Team.
