Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 0) Gascons's Léopold Parr started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chang Leon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Kent Guay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bennett Davies during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 13 minutes into the game, Adolph Castle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yarmouth AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gascons the free kick. Gascons's Kent Guay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chang Leon in the 32nd minute of play. Yarmouth AFC's Drew Cordero suffered a sore thigh after 35 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 35 minutes into the game, Dalton Pham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gascons's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yarmouth AFC the free kick. When Dong Maloney came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Yarmouth AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dong Maloney couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Léopold Parr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Yarmouth AFC's Adolph Castle got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gascons's Luc Guerrero got a free kick in the 54th minute. Wally Todd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léopold Parr in the 56th minute of play. A hard shot 60 in the game by Dong Maloney from a close distance when the talented Kent Guay managed to make a qualified save. Gascons's players were relieved. Léopold Parr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wally Todd having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Luc Guerrero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wally Todd. Yarmouth AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luc Guerrero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 92 minutes into the game, Léopold Parr cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Wally Todd was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
