Quatsino's Angel Cross played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moshe Sweet in the 20th minute of play. Donovan Baron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Cross having to interfere. Wilber Winter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvatore Stinson having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Chadwick Horton notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Reliance FC's Salvatore Stinson. Salvatore Stinson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Reliance FC's zone, Chadwick Horton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvatore Stinson came out of the goal and Chadwick Horton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Reliance FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Quatsino were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Wilber Winter made the kick off in the second half. Angel Cross took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moshe Sweet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alfred Pulliam fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quatsino's protests and gave Alfred Pulliam a yellow card for diving instead. Alfred Pulliam hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes Quatsino got a freekick which was hit by Antoine Early. Quatsino's Angel Cross played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moshe Sweet in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Donovan Baron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Cross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Antoine Early hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Quatsino's Chadwick Horton got a free kick in the 66th minute. Donovan Baron struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Angel Cross didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reliance FC. After 69 played minutes Quatsino got a freekick which was hit by Antoine Early.
