Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Brain Hamm notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Simcoe FC's Johnie Keene. Johnie Keene was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 7th minute, Dannie Woods got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Lucien Herndon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eldridge Meyer. chelsea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucien Herndon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Eldridge Meyer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucien Herndon in the 16th minute. Brain Hamm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnie Keene having to interfere. Johnie Keene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Levine in the 22nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Maurice Caudill kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eldridge Meyer. That made the score 2-1 in the 24 minute of play. After 29 played minutes Simcoe FC got a freekick which was hit by Francis Smiley. chelsea's Eldridge Meyer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save chelsea from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Maurice Caudill took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Eldridge Meyer to make any attempt to save it. In the 40th minute, Brain Hamm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The chelsea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After 45 minutes of play, chelsea's Brain Hamm made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johnie Keene was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Eldridge Meyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucien Herndon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dillon Downs hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Neville Ashby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. chelsea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neville Ashby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johnie Keene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dillon Downs in the 64th minute of the match. Neville Ashby struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Johnie Keene didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for chelsea. In the 67th minute, Lucien Herndon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Simcoe FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Eldridge Meyer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chet Jordan went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. Neville Ashby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dannie Woods kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Pablo Levine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes, Léonard Brandt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the chelsea and the Simcoe FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute of the match Stan Ortiz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eldridge Meyer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, Lucien Herndon made a precise shot to the right of Eldridge Meyer. chelsea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-3. 90 minutes into the match, chelsea's Brain Hamm broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Simcoe FC's Johnie Keene played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lonny Patterson in the 94th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Simcoe FC were victorious despite being under pressure from chelsea for much of the match.
