Spectators: 6762 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 0) Reliance FC's Moshe Sweet started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Donovan Baron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Armand Burrows tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 6 minutes, Moshe Sweet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reliance FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moshe Sweet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salvatore Stinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Lizotte in the 8th minute of the match. Armand Burrows showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moshe Sweet, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Donovan Baron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Reliance FC's goalkeeper Salvatore Stinson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anthony Lizotte. Donald Ross kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Reliance FC booed when Paddockwood FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Pouliotte didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Lino Schroeder kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Salvatore Stinson. That made the score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. Lino Schroeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donovan Baron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Armand Burrows tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armand Burrows took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moshe Sweet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lino Schroeder made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Lizotte in the 53rd minute of play forced Reliance FC's goalkeeper Salvatore Stinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvatore Stinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Lizotte, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Lino Schroeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvatore Stinson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Paddockwood FC's Emile Lyons got a free kick in the 68th minute. Reliance FC's Moshe Sweet got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Lizotte in the 77th minute of play forced Reliance FC's goalkeeper Salvatore Stinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anthony Lizotte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 88 played minutes Reliance FC got a freekick which was hit by Donald Ross.
