Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Garland Cottrell kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilber Winter during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Quatsino getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Wilber Winter hit a great ball. Climax FC's Joseph Montminy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilber Winter in the 9th minute of play. Wilber Winter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joseph Montminy having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Chadwick Horton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joseph Montminy was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. When Quatsino's Chadwick Horton in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Climax FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21st minute, Garland Cottrell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Angel Cross. The goal made the score 1-0. Antoine Early received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Joseph Montminy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Chadwick Horton came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Quatsino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chadwick Horton couldn't finish the play. Chadwick Horton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Montminy having to interfere. Lacy Beausoleil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Lacy Beausoleil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Climax FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lacy Beausoleil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garland Cottrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Angel Cross tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Cross took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garland Cottrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quatsino's Chadwick Horton got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilber Winter made a kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Orlando Lozano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Climax FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quatsino the free kick. In the 60th minute, Orlando Lozano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garland Cottrell in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Cross saved Quatsino from getting behind. Joseph Montminy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chadwick Horton in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Climax FC booed when Quatsino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Pulliam didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lacy Beausoleil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Garland Cottrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chadwick Horton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Joseph Montminy made a huge save. 83 minutes into the match, Quatsino's goal looked a bit too open when Lacy Beausoleil came free, but Angel Cross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chadwick Horton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilber Winter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Joseph Montminy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Chadwick Horton notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Climax FC's Joseph Montminy. Joseph Montminy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th minute Garland Cottrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Cross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chadwick Horton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Joseph Montminy made a huge save.
