Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jesse Holland during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Comber got a freekick which was hit by Jesse Holland. A hard shot by Leslie Crain from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Willard Romano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bruno Tremblay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perry Honeycutt in the 9th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Perry Honeycutt in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Tremblay saved Comber from getting behind. Perry Honeycutt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominion FC's Willard Romano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Dominion FC from getting a goal against them. If Colby Kauffman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Tremblay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colby Kauffman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Jesse Holland made a precise shot to the right of Willard Romano. Dominion FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jesse Holland struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Willard Romano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Comber. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Colby Kauffman to make the kick off. Gustavo Morin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willard Romano having to interfere. In the 57th minute, one of Dominion FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dominion FC. Bruno Tremblay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colby Kauffman, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Gustavo Morin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Comber's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Morin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stewart Pouchard hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Colby Kauffman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Tremblay having to interfere. When Perry Honeycutt came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Dominion FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Perry Honeycutt couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Jesse Holland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gustavo Morin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Comber were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Dominion FC for a fine match.
