Spectators: 6714 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) Ottova FC's Rodney Kiser started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Boyd Couture managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ottova FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Boyd Couture was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Canales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Skowman's Martin Canales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodney Kiser in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Skowman getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Don Charles hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodney Kiser in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Canales saved Skowman from getting behind. After 19 minutes, Sammy Harrison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skowman and the Ottova FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Skowman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sammy Harrison to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Skowman's Chris Leonard got a free kick in the 20th minute. Martin Canales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodney Kiser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Canales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodney Kiser in the 25th minute of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Rodney Kiser who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skowman's Martin Canales was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leo Séguin hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Ottova FC's Roberto Burgos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Harrison in the 31st minute of play. After 35 minutes of play, Ottova FC's Rodney Kiser made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Canales was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute, Boyd Couture got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Ottova FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Sammy Harrison made the kick off in the second half. Rodney Kiser let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 54th minute shot 0-2 at rihgt post. Chris Leonard hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th match minute, Skowman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoffrey Ochoa to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Skowman's Chris Leonard got a free kick in the 58th minute. With a little luck, Skowman's Martin Canales got control of the ball when Domenic Brooks tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodney Kiser's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Canales read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. When the match was over Ottova FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skowman throughout the match.
