Spectators: 6755 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1755, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ambrose Valle kicked off to start the match. Clyde Champion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanton Palmer having to interfere. Stanton Palmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrose Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. August Cardwell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugh Lange having to make a save. In the 14th match minute, Whycocomagh AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Roark to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute August Cardwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugh Lange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, August Cardwell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vassar's supporters rose to their feet, but August Cardwell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugh Lange breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elden Lajeunesse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joesph Gauthier charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joesph Gauthier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joesph Gauthier kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ambrose Valle kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stanton Palmer. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Elden Lajeunesse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Whycocomagh AFC's Hugh Lange was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Vassar's Elden Lajeunesse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugh Lange narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell August Cardwell to make the kick off. Vassar's Elden Lajeunesse got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. August Cardwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Hugh Lange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Whycocomagh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Roark. Hugh Lange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Cardwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Hugh Lange stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rueben Wesley's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Whycocomagh AFC's Clyde Champion got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute August Cardwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugh Lange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elden Lajeunesse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Hugh Lange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugh Lange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Cardwell in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes in the game, August Cardwell fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hugh Lange having to interfere. Rueben Wesley hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Barnabé Lowry took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stanton Palmer. Vassar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vassar's August Cardwell got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
