Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Landon Nix started the match with the kick off. Ahmad Beebe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Martin Canales skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 12th play minute Ahmad Beebe came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Martin Canales. 1-0. When Landon Nix came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Anson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Landon Nix couldn't finish the play. Ahmad Beebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Martin Canales made a huge save. Chris Leonard kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Landon Nix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anson's supporters rose to their feet, but Landon Nix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Canales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walker McKinnon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lemuel Hyatt in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Landon Nix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Canales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Canales made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmad Beebe in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sammy Harrison to make the kick off. If Sammy Harrison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sammy Harrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Anson's zone, Lemuel Hyatt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walker McKinnon came out of the goal and Lemuel Hyatt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Canales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmad Beebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmad Beebe in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Canales prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lemuel Hyatt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Skowman's Martin Canales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmad Beebe in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Landon Nix in the 76th minute of play forced Skowman's goalkeeper Martin Canales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Landon Nix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walker McKinnon acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leopoldo Olson. 97 minutes into the match, Skowman's goal looked a bit too open when Landon Nix came free, but Martin Canales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Skowman players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Anson.
