Whycocomagh AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Neguac the free kick. The supporters of Neguac booed when Whycocomagh AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Roark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jules Bunch in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugh Lange prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambroise Gilbert in the 9th minute of play forced Whycocomagh AFC's goalkeeper Hugh Lange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eddie Lereau fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Whycocomagh AFC's protests and gave Eddie Lereau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Whycocomagh AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Lereau to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ambroise Gilbert in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugh Lange prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugh Lange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambroise Gilbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Neguac's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrose Valle came free, but Gail Stearns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Clyde Champion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Neguac:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Whycocomagh AFC:s goal. In the 25th minute, the referee gave Whycocomagh AFC a penalty. Barnabé Lowry looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Gail Stearns. Hugh Lange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jules Bunch, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Hugh Lange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jules Bunch in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ambrose Valle in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gail Stearns saved Neguac from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Clyde Champion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Whycocomagh AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clyde Champion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gail Stearns breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Billy Burks kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Gail Stearns made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clyde Champion in the 44th minute. In the 48th minute, Clyde Champion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambroise Gilbert to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Whycocomagh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Calvin Healy. Neguac's Jules Bunch got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ambroise Gilbert came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Neguac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambroise Gilbert couldn't finish the play. Hugh Lange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambroise Gilbert in the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Neguac's Abel Adkins got a free kick in the 81st minute. Hugh Lange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jules Bunch, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambroise Gilbert in the 84th minute of play forced Whycocomagh AFC's goalkeeper Hugh Lange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jules Bunch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugh Lange having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Tracy Martin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugh Lange. Whycocomagh AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tracy Martin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jules Bunch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugh Lange having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Neguac's Jules Bunch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugh Lange narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ambrose Valle in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gail Stearns prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
