In the 11th minute Clyde Champion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryon Wu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddie Lereau hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Rosario Blair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugh Lange having to interfere. When Whycocomagh AFC's Clyde Champion in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rancheria FC's goalie prevented a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Whycocomagh AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rosario Blair came free, but Hugh Lange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alphonse Woodall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hugh Lange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Rancheria FC's Rosario Blair slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hugh Lange. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geoffroi Waller during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rancheria FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Geoffroi Waller hit a great ball. Bryon Wu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clyde Champion, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Clyde Champion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rosario Blair made a kick off. Ambrose Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrose Valle in the 59th minute of play forced Rancheria FC's goalkeeper Bryon Wu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Whycocomagh AFC's Clyde Champion made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bryon Wu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Whycocomagh AFC's Eddie Lereau got a free kick in the 64th minute. Houston Trudeau's late challenge caught a Rancheria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Houston Trudeau helped the player get up and apologised. Houston Trudeau kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Rancheria FC's Rosario Blair got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eddie Lereau kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Hugh Lange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alphonse Woodall in the 74th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Whycocomagh AFC's Ambrose Valle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bryon Wu. Bryon Wu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The supporters of Rancheria FC booed when Whycocomagh AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Lereau didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dee Gee during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rancheria FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! In the 86th minute, Whycocomagh AFC got a penalty, and Barnabé Lowry placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Alphonse Woodall kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ambrose Valle in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bryon Wu saved Rancheria FC from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded Whycocomagh AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rancheria FC.
