Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vassar's August Cardwell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd play minute Elden Lajeunesse came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Martin Canales. 1-0. August Cardwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Martin Canales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diodore Carney hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lemuel Hyatt in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanton Palmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sammy Harrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elden Lajeunesse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd play minute Elden Lajeunesse came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Martin Canales. 2-0. Sammy Harrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vassar getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Joesph Gauthier hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Skowman's Leopoldo Olson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Stanton Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lemuel Hyatt in the 36th minute of the match. If Elden Lajeunesse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute August Cardwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Canales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Canales stood somewhat misplaced when August Cardwell came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 44 minute.

The wind increased when Sammy Harrison made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Skowman's zone, Elden Lajeunesse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Canales came out of the goal and Elden Lajeunesse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. August Cardwell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 played minutes Vassar got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Faucher. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Cardwell in the 65th minute of play forced Skowman's goalkeeper Martin Canales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. August Cardwell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sammy Harrison got free with Stanton Palmer in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elden Lajeunesse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Canales having to interfere. Joesph Gauthier charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joesph Gauthier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vassar getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Joesph Gauthier hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lemuel Hyatt in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The tension between the Skowman and the Vassar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Skowman's Don Charles got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skowman's goalkeeper Martin Canales, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
