In the 5th minute, Blair Odonnell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blair Odonnell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Roberto Burgos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronny Calderon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 14 minutes, Rolando Bryan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capasin AFC and the Ottova FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Capasin AFC's Rolando Bryan got a free kick in the 14th minute. Roberto Burgos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Val Webb went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Donny Burton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodney Kiser in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, Ottova FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olen Eddy to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Ottova FC's Roberto Burgos got control of the ball when Blair Odonnell tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rodney Kiser's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donny Burton was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Ottova FC's Rodney Kiser got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blair Odonnell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donny Burton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodney Kiser's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rolando Bryan was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blair Odonnell in the 51st minute of play forced Ottova FC's goalkeeper Roberto Burgos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Erich Bourque fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ottova FC's protests and gave Erich Bourque a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Ottova FC got a freekick which was hit by Erich Bourque. Val Webb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodney Kiser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Donny Burton made a huge save. After some careless play in the Capasin AFC defense, Rodney Kiser kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donny Burton. The Capasin AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donny Burton should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Ottova FC's Andrea Watt got a free kick in the 71st minute. Dieudonné Piper, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Blair Odonnell struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Roberto Burgos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capasin AFC. Timothée Daniels hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Capasin AFC's Donny Burton got control of the ball when Rodney Kiser tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blair Odonnell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 84 minutes, Rodney Kiser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ottova FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodney Kiser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodney Kiser in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Donny Burton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Blair Odonnell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Burgos having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
