In the 4th minute Don Kilgore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sang Gagné saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Don Kilgore in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sang Gagné prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ed Krause fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darell Cullen having to interfere. Darell Cullen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ed Krause in the 15th minute of the match. Ed Krause received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Darell Cullen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sang Gagné showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Kilgore, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Jim Hurt hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Damien Leon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Sang Gagné tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Ed Krause got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ed Krause in the 51st minute of play forced Duffield's goalkeeper Darell Cullen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Damien Leons short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Sang Gagné to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ed Krause in the 61st minute of play forced Duffield's goalkeeper Darell Cullen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sang Gagné showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Kilgore in the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Duffield's Don Kilgore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sang Gagné narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Darell Cullen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ed Krause in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Damien Leon made a precise shot to the right of Sang Gagné. Skownan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Leon McMillan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Duffield eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
