Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ed Krause kicked off to start the match. When Andre Reyna fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skownan's protests and gave Andre Reyna a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Skownan getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Andre Reyna hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alma's zone, Ed Krause stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dewayne Rucker came out of the goal and Ed Krause tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Skownan's Ed Krause slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dewayne Rucker. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. If Neville McMillian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erwin Hurt in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sang Gagné prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erwin Hurt took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sang Gagné. Sang Gagné dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Randall Kimbrough hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Skownan's Sang Gagné played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Hurt in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skownan's goalkeeper Sang Gagné, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sang Gagné showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neville McMillian in the 41st minute of the match. Darrel Sheridan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dewayne Rucker. Alma's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 45th minute, Skownan's Ed Krause ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dewayne Rucker. Dewayne Rucker yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erwin Hurt made a kick off. Cordell Crews hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Skownan's Andre Reyna couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alma. Neville McMillian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Erwin Hurt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Gilbert Grimm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skownan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 74 minutes into the match, Skownan's Ed Krause sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dewayne Rucker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Skownan booed when Alma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Childers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Gilbert Grimm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skownan's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilbert Grimm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dewayne Rucker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 played minutes Alma got a freekick which was hit by Jerrod Klein. Ed Krause fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dewayne Rucker having to interfere. Dewayne Rucker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Grimm, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
