The Matapedia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Fluet should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute Garth Pollard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Fluet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Fiske booed when Matapedia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adalberto Villanueva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Devin Benton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Fluet having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Fiske was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmad Woodruff to maneuver through the defense. Basil Richmond's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Gilbert Whitfield skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 29th minute, Devin Benton made a precise shot to the right of Christian Fluet. Matapedia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Matapedia's Christian Fluet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devin Benton in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Matapedia's goalkeeper Christian Fluet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garth Pollard. 61 minutes into the match, Fiske's Garth Pollard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Fluet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Devin Benton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th minute, Fiske's Dee McCloud dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 68th minute, Devin Benton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrick Rosado took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilbert Whitfield. Gilbert Whitfield dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In a very dangerous position, a player in Matapedia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! Merrill Beltran placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Patrick Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 97 minutes, Kirby Baker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matapedia and the Fiske players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kirby Baker hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Matapedia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fiske were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
