Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) Princeville's Raul Cagle started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Skownan booed when Princeville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greg Higgins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentine Skinner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sang Gagné having to interfere. Raul Cagle struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Sang Gagné didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Princeville. Greg Higgins kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Kyle Pringle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ed Krause, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Greg Higgins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gilbert Grimm came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Skownan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Grimm couldn't finish the play. Jaime Hébert kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Skownan's Andre Reyna tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ed Krause sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sang Gagné took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentine Skinner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Cagle might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sang Gagné. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raul Cagle ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Skownan's Len Lopez got a free kick in the 44th minute. Sang Gagné didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Cagle went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ed Krause to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Cagle in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sang Gagné prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valentine Skinner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Sang Gagné made a huge save. After 56 played minutes Skownan got a freekick which was hit by Jason Grove. Raul Cagle was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. Princeville's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 61 minutes into the match, Valentine Skinner notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Skownan's Sang Gagné. Sang Gagné was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute, Colin Cervantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Valentine Skinner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sang Gagné. Skownan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentine Skinner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. 72 minutes into the game, Hugo Kennedy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Princeville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skownan the free kick. After 72 played minutes Princeville got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Kennedy. Ed Krause recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute of the match Hugo Kennedy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sang Gagné skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Cagle in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Skownan's goalkeeper Sang Gagné, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Len Lopez hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Skownan's Sang Gagné played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Cagle in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Princeville's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Grimm came free, but Kyle Pringle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Skownan's zone, Raul Cagle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sang Gagné came out of the goal and Raul Cagle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ed Krause had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
