Don Kilgore struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Issac Wiggins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Duffield. Damien Leon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Don Kilgore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Issac Wiggins having to interfere. Cory Zamora hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Duffield's Don Kilgore got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Damien Leon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damien Leon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Issac Wiggins having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Surprise FC got a freekick which was hit by Wes Gore. Issac Wiggins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Kilgore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alberto Sizemore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto Sizemore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cory Zamora during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cory Zamora kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Alberto Sizemore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darell Cullen having to make a save. Alberto Sizemore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geraldo Dalton hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Maria Larsen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darell Cullen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Don Kilgore kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Issac Wiggins. That made the score 0-1 in the 68 minute of play. Darell Cullen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Sizemore went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Duffield's zone, Malik Lane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darell Cullen came out of the goal and Malik Lane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Duffield's goalkeeper Darell Cullen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Damien Leon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Issac Wiggins having to interfere. The Duffield players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Surprise FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
