Roland Vernon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 7 minutes, Pascal Woodson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Donnaconna AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascal Woodson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roland Vernon hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Pascal Woodson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlton Grove having to interfere. Roland Vernon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Roland Vernon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlton Grove stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roland Vernon's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Zack Talbot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chauncey Braden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Leandro Thayer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Michellton FC's Chauncey Braden dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 45 minutes into the match, Roland Vernon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlton Grove. Michellton FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roland Vernon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pascal Woodson to strike the kick off in the second half. Donnaconna AFC's Zack Talbot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Thayer in the 57th minute of play. Pascal Woodson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donnie Weldon charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donnie Weldon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Donnie Weldon hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. If Pascal Woodson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascal Woodson in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlton Grove prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Chauncey Braden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Donnaconna AFC's Roland Vernon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlton Grove narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marius Holloway hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Carlton Grove successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 90 minutes, Chauncey Braden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Michellton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chauncey Braden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michellton FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Donnaconna AFC for much of the match.
