Lyman Reece took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elbert Faulk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pacofi FC's Curtis Guay got a free kick in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pacofi FC's zone, Elbert Faulk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lyman Reece came out of the goal and Elbert Faulk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 minutes, Antoine Quinones mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fonthill and the Pacofi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fonthill's Antoine Quinones got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Neil Paquet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Blair Amos. Fonthill's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Blair Amos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Curtis Guay's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Donatien Connolly could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Lyman Reece made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elbert Faulk was the one to do the kick off. Fonthill's Blair Amos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curtis Guay in the 51st minute of play. Elbert Faulk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyman Reece having to interfere. If Damian Person had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shayne Acosta hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Luke Hines kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donatien Connolly in the 82nd minute of play forced Pacofi FC's goalkeeper Lyman Reece to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Pacofi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donatien Connolly came free, but Lyman Reece reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Damian Person had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
