Rayford Parmentier scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lynwood Roper, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Shannon Hickman struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Lynwood Roper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cowansville. A collision led to Villeneuve getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Curtis Blum hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Villeneuve's zone, Shannon Hickman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lynwood Roper came out of the goal and Shannon Hickman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Monte Paige managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villeneuve's supporters crossed their fingers, but Monte Paige was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lynwood Roper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shannon Hickman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lynwood Roper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shannon Hickman's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. With an all-out effort, Cowansville's Lynwood Roper threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Shannon Hickman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rayford Parmentiers short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Lynwood Roper to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 45 played minutes Cowansville got a freekick which was hit by Shayne Fournier. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cowansville's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Justin Couture was slow to take the kick. During this time Villeneuve's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Justin Couture almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cowansville's Wladyslaw Dynda did a great save. After 63 played minutes Villeneuve got a freekick which was hit by Curtis Blum. Rayford Parmentier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wladyslaw Dynda made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Curtis Blum sent off a good shot on target. Shannon Hickman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Lynwood Roper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lynwood Roper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rayford Parmentier in the 79th minute of play. Shannon Hickman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cowansville fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Cowansville's Shannon Hickman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 92 minutes, Ramiro Taylor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cowansville and the Villeneuve players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Cowansville got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Taylor. Josef Zepeda charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josef Zepeda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Josef Zepeda kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Cowansville players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
