Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elbert Faulk kicked off to start the match. Blair Amos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shannon Hickman in the 7th minute of play. Cowansville's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Deshawn Keith in the 8th minute. Blair Amos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rayford Parmentier went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rayford Parmentier in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blair Amos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shannon Hickman in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blair Amos saved Fonthill from getting behind. Blair Amos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rayford Parmentier in the 19th minute of the match. Fonthill's Elbert Faulk got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pascal Connor's late challenge caught a Cowansville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascal Connor helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fonthill getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Pascal Connor hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Shannon Hickman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Elbert Faulk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wladyslaw Dynda. That made the score 1-1 in the 27 minute of play. In the 30th minute Olin Coffman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blair Amos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elbert Faulk succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. After 35 played minutes Fonthill got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Connor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rayford Parmentier in the 36th minute of play forced Fonthill's goalkeeper Blair Amos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shannon Hickman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Rayford Parmentier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blair Amos was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Rayford Parmentier made the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Dwayne Bisaillon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cowansville and the Fonthill players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Cowansville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dwayne Bisaillon to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fonthill's zone, Rayford Parmentier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blair Amos came out of the goal and Rayford Parmentier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rayford Parmentier got free with Blair Amos in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Cowansville's goal looked a bit too open when Donatien Connolly came free, but Wladyslaw Dynda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rayford Parmentier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rayford Parmentier took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blair Amos. Blair Amos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Rayford Parmentier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Blair Amos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Rayford Parmentier got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Shannon Hickman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cowansville's supporters rose to their feet, but Shannon Hickman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blair Amos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 84 minutes, Rayford Parmentier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cowansville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rayford Parmentier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 86 in the game by Rayford Parmentier from a close distance when the talented Blair Amos managed to make a qualified save. Fonthill's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erick Généreux during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Fonthill:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cowansville:s goal.
