Bersimis AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fauquier the free kick. A collision led to Bersimis AFC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jacob Crum hit a great ball. Collin Dooley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Crum, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th match minute, Bersimis AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dustin Childs to maneuver through the defense. Jacob Crum struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Collin Dooley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bersimis AFC. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Mervin Mireault put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rigoberto Wray. After 24 played minutes Fauquier got a freekick which was hit by Régis Kyle. Victor Terrell, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jacob Crum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Bart Hargrove sped through Fauquier's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Collin Dooley. 46 minutes into the game, Bart Hargrove cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Collin Dooley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Ralph Dubé sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fauquier's Mervin Mireault got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Javier Blair hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Bersimis AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mervin Mireault fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Noé Richter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mervin Mireault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Jacob Crum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Collin Dooley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Wray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Dubé, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fauquier's zone, Bart Hargrove stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Collin Dooley came out of the goal and Bart Hargrove tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Collin Dooley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bart Hargrove in the 90th minute of the match. Ralph Dubé recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Collin Dooley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacob Crum went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bersimis AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fauquier had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
